Mr. Shafer is managing partner of the firm, and leads the injury and insurance litigation departments. Mr. Shafer is a graduate of the University of Georgia and Stetson University College of Law. While in law school, Mr. Shafer served with distinction on Stetson’s nationally acclaimed Trial Team, as an advocate for the International Environmental Moot Court Team, and as the American Bar Association student representative.
After law school, Mr. Shafer worked for several years as a lawyer for the insurance industry. He saw first-hand how the insurance industry rejected the best interests of catastrophically injured persons, and decided there had to be a better way of applying his knowledge and experience. Since that time, Mr. Shafer has devoted his work to helping those who have been injured and fighting against insurance companies who would try to deny justice. |
